The Stories Behind Style

SoHo Chronicles is a street-level documentary series exploring identity, creativity, personal style, and human connection through spontaneous encounters in New York City.

SoHo Chronicles began with a simple curiosity:

What happens when you stop strangers and ask real questions?

What started as a street photography project in SoHo evolved into something deeper.

A living archive of humanity.

Style became the doorway.

Conversation became the connection.

Every encounter is spontaneous. Every portrait is personal. Every story reveals something deeper about identity, creativity, resilience, love, ambition, and the experiences that shape us.

Created by photographer, host, and storyteller Chaz Langley, SoHo Chronicles explores the humanity beneath the aesthetic.

More Than Street Style

NEW YORK CITY DOESN’T JUST EXIST AROUND YOU

It lives inside you.

Every block has a story. Every face holds a universe. Every corner of this city whispers something different… ambition, heartbreak, beauty, resilience, reinvention.

This is where SoHo Chronicles was born.

Not in a studio. Not behind a screen.

But out there… on the pavement, in the light, between strangers becoming something more.

Every city has a heartbeat.

New York has nineteen million.

I've spent nearly two decades walking these streets…

not as a tourist, not as a bystander, but as someone who believes the most extraordinary stories are hiding in plain sight.

My name is Chaz Langley.

And this city made me who I am.
